For sale we have a used, Made in USA 1988 Fender Strat Plus Stratocaster w/OHSC, hang tags/manuals and tremolo arm. This guitar is in solid good knocking on very good condition, and is stock original with gold Lace Sensor p'ups and TBX tone circuit, unmodified, pots dating to 88 (see photos). Both "The Blue Book of Electric Guitars" and online point towards Arctic White being the white finish offering at this time, but this is the original finish and is aging in a manner that has a warmer white quality, like and Olympic or Vintage White. I can not definitively say, but I can say this guitar is not refinished. This guitar just came back from the luthier Mountain Song Guitars (see condition), and plays extremely well set up with .10 gauge strings with a 12th fret string action of .04". This guitar is an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, and weighs 8# 3oz.

Condition: this guitar is in as stated good arguably near very good condition, a most satisfying condition, please read carefully. First and foremost, this guitar went to Mountain Song Guitars (see photo) where it received a fret dressing, leveling and polishing, as well as a full pro set up. The frets are 100%, the rosewood fingerboard is clean, the back of the neck has a few small dings but is clean, no ring rash. The electronics, again 100% stock, work perfect. The five way switch is bent in just a bit, but works perfect. The tremolo and original tremolo arm work perfect. Original Wilkinson nut works well. Original Sperzel tuners work great. The headstock is pretty clean, a few small dings in it, and a witness mark/slight indentation of the letters from a sticker from the shop that first sold this guitar on the back of the headstock. This guitar is pretty clean but shows some aging and wear from use on the knobs, p'ups etc. The pickguard shows steady and good light scratching from playing. The body is pretty clean. A very few small dings, no abuse. Some linear crazing type of striations (top to bottom of body) from age, not through the finish. Basically, this is a nice, loved but not abused example of a vintage guitar. The condition is most satisfying and honest. The original case has a Fender sticker on it (see photo), but is in good shape overall and serves this guitar well. Please feel free to reach out to use if you have questions about this guitar.
