This is an EXTRAORDINARY Conn F Mezzo-Soprano saxophone.
Most people are aware of the history of these instruments - Conn designed them for orchestral work but that never materialized. Most of the leftover stock was used for repair practice - deliberately dented and mashed so that technicians could work on them. This one, however, is nearly perfect save some very minor playing wear.
Original nickel plate is 99% present and looks great. There are no dents anywhere and no signs of repair. This horn has had a recent repad and is completely ready to play. Comes with original mouthpiece. This is one of the sweetest-sounding instruments that Conn ever made, and I don't think there is a better sounding saxophone that has ever been built. THESE DON'T COME AROUND VERY OFTEN! Grab it while you can!
