This is a 1988 Kramer Pacer Custom I with a custom Tie-Dye finish. This one has a fun history - a colorful past, if you will (ayyy)..

Originally sporting a standard black finish, this guitar belonged to a member of Out of Order, the house band that was hired for Nickelodeon's TV variety talk show, "Don't Just Sit There!". During pre-tapings, the production staff thought it would be cool to have this guitar spiced up a bit, and decided (with the guitarist's OK) to send the it back to Kramer to be refinished by one of the era's best airbrush artists, Dennis Kline.

Kline was a prolific guitar painter who was in high demand by many metal bands, and is perhaps best known for his work with Motley Crue, Zakk Wylde, and even Bon Jovi. While most of these bands often hired him for his zombie-esque horror scenes, he chose to go the fun, psychedelic route on this one, choosing a swirl of neon colors that would eventually define the next decade.

It wasn't long before Buck, the guitarist of Out of Order, removed all the electronics but left a single DiMarzio humbucker bridge pickup, a single DiMarzio volume pot, and a kill switch for at-the-ready stutter effects. It has its original Floyd Rose system, with two non-original saddles and locking nuts. Over the years, it has accumulated expected wear, with nicks and dings throughout and play wear on its fingerboard, all of which add to its rich personality and grungey allure. Its fretboard had begun to separate from the neck toward the nut at some point, but it has been professionally reglued and is super solid. It was also given a new bar for its trem system, which works great and snaps right back in tune.

We can't stop playing it or looking at it or talking about it. It sounds legitimately great and plays comfortably, quickly, and smoothly. Be sure to check the video link in the photo to see and hear it in action - in all its swirly glory. This guitar is rad!

It has been professionally setup with 09's and comes with a gigbag.
