This Mesa Boogie is an early 80’s Mrk II C with Simulclass and the + modification (done in 1983 or 84). Originally a combo, it has been converted to a head exclusively by Michael Bendinelli at Mesa Boogie. The work was done in 2019 and has only a few hours of playing time since then. It is a two-owner amp (though I've only had it for about three years) and has the original (rare) Sylvania power tubes. Only selling cause this is just sitting in the amp rack as my main amp is a IIC++. No need for me to hoard all of these.

The following work was done by Michael Bendinelli :

"Replace broken fan AC socket. Replace all electrolytic caps in amp. Had non-stock 220k old carbon resistors at "E" bias point on board-they were way out of spec  (260-270K) resulted in several volts less bias at power tubes. Installed new 1% 220Ks.  680 ohm at LDR supply cooked - replace with new 2 watt.  Removed all pull pots to rebuild and restore as needed.  Clean up tighten etc to SVC FTSW boxes- all working right. Refurbish reverb tank and cables/jacks etc, removed rotting foam pad inside, springs came out clean, tank's OK.  Cleaned EQ sliders a bit, it's just a little fuzzy crackle, only WHEN you slide them.”
