Fender Clarence White Custom Shop Telecaster with Parsons White B-Bender 1994 - Sunburst

Wonderful and rare 1994 Custom Shop Fender Clarence White Tele with Parsons White B-Bender. Apparently only 2-300 hundred of these guitars were made between 1994 and 2001 by the early Fender Custom Shop with the B-Bender fitted by Gene Parsons who along with Clarence White invented the B-Bender and were obviously expensive to produce and consequently very few were produced. The guitar was meant to be a tribute to rather than a replica of Clarence White’s famous 50’s Telecaster with the original B-Bender which is now owned by Marty Stuart

The guitar has a ash body with a great birdseye maple neck with a classic soft V profile which is not too fat or skinny, has custom shop Texas Tele bridge pickup with a 50’s Strat neck pickup. Also, has Scruggs banjo tuners on the top and bottom E strings which enable you to tune down by to D by a quick turn of the tuner.

The B-Bender enable steel guitar wonderful steel guitar like bends in chords etc.

I believe this actual guitar was made for the NAMM show in 1994 and found it’s way to Germany which is where I purchased it from. Along the way the original COA was missing so Oldenburg Vintage Guitars managed to get another from Fender which is why it’s dated 01/05/2022 but was made in 1994. It’s signed on the back of the headstock and the COA by Marty Stuart who owns Clarence White’s original tele.

Anyway, it’s a fantastic guitar and will be sad to see it go but I have to get rid of something to fund another expensive purchase.
