Vandersteen 5a (pre carbon) circa 2005 - Hard Wood Prob Walnut

These are top quality audiophile level speakers. they have built in subwoofers. Vandersteen's big claim to fame is coherency. These are awesome at voice, acoustic, symphony, chamber etc. Of course i paid around $20k for them so they will play anything well. These speakers require a crossover, either freestanding like in the last pic or via an amplifier (eg Aesthetix Atlas). these crossovers in pic are NIB from the local dealer.

i do not have the original boxes so i feel i cannot ship. they are on a very nice stereo here and if you send your drivers license you may preview them here. if you are totally familiar with the speaker you may pick them up without audition as i guarantee they perform similar to when they were new. IF YOU REALLY WANT THEM SHIPPED THEN BUY THEM, ORDER BOXES FROM VANDERSTEEN SHIPPED TO ME, i will pack them and you can have a carrier pick them up. OR order a moving company to come and pack them in custom boxes and deliver to you. they are FBO my home dallas.

Most buyers want to do something around Reverb.  I do not know why but:  We will not transfer the gear or title until my banker confirms that the funds are in my account and cannot be recalled by the buyer. Reverb will be paid regardless.

My prices are relatively firm for the time being.  I will lower them if I feel they need to be lower.  if you want to present DATA/ Comparable’s  as to what the correct price should be, please do.
