Harmony H-162. Serial number 2084 stamped below the neck block on the interior of the back. An addition, though faint stamp also on the interior is S-61 WN which indicates that the guitar was made in the Spring of 1961. So if you consider yourself more of a Fall kind of person, this may not be the guitar for you. These are all solid wood guitars and with Mahogany back and sides and a solid Spruce top with a bound sound hole. Four-ply bound top and single-ply bound back. Recent and very clean neck set set up. Very little playwear with original frets with a Brazilian Rosewood bridge and fingerboard with a "Steel Reinforced Neck".

Unlike the early Gibson's, Harmony used a copious amount of glue on their robust braces and they are all intact and nicely tucked into the linings. The Harmony silk screen logo is in nicely preserved and the guitar has the original tuners and small pickguard. These early 60's instruments seem to be of good value due to their simple appointments and quality materials with a very thin finish. The neck has a comfortable C profile.

1 3/4" nut.

4mm on base and treble side at the 12th fret.

3.9 lbs.

No case, but will be carefully shipped.

48 hour approval on all guitars and amps.
