The COMPOSER ROM is the Sound ROM E-mu made for the Proteus 2000 rack synthesizer. Special to the COMPOSER ROM is that it has EIGHT BANKS of presets, which means 1024 preset patches ON THE ROM itself (your synth will also have the USER banks of patches, and possibly other banks of preset patches if other ROMs are installed in your synth).

The Expansion ROM will be shipped in an anti-static bag/wrap. The Expansion ROM is sitting on an anti-static bag in the photo(s). The Expansion ROM will be kept in an anti-static bag until sold (or installed inside a synth).
