A rather rare and early model Recording King California Deluxe RB-024 five string open back banjo in excellent condition. The rim is walnut. The neck is walnut with a hard maple stripe. The rim is 11" with dual connecting rods. The tone ring is a Whyte-Laydie. The fret board is ebony. This banjo has great tone and projection, and is one of the best projecting open backs that I have ever heard. An arch top hard shell case in good condition is also included.
You can enjoy great open back tone, projection, and playability in a solid, well built, high quality banjo.
