Alvarez 5023 Early 1970s - Natural Finish with upgrades

For sale is this Alvarez 5023 acoustic guitar with upgrades and it's original case. This is an excellent mid-level acoustic guitar. It's got a huge, fairly loud tone and includes a new Tusq bridge saddle and new bridge pins. The action is about 3/32" at the 12th fret with just a tickle of relief at the 6th fret (with the 1st and 12th frets depressed). But, the Tusq saddle has plenty of meat on it if you want a lower action. It also features an adjustable bridge saddle mount so you can raise the saddle if you wish. The frets are pretty good save for the usual wear patterns on the higher strings in the lower frets. The tuners are original. The finish has the usual wear marks one would expect on a guitar this old. The case is in really great shape for it's age with no structural issues whatsoever.
