This is one cool piece! Fodera Custom Emperor in Trans-Red! The thing about this guitar is that the woods were 65-years old before the guitar was made. There is the optional Macassar Ebony Ramp included. Also there is the Mike Pope preamp. Abalone Inlays too! The pickups are Duncan Hot Wound Jazz. The weight is a fantastic 10lbs even. The guitar was refretted in 2016 with Heavy Frets.
Overall the guitar is extremely clean with just some very light feather surface contact scratches (the kind you only see in the light) and maybe a ding or 2. The original case is inlcuded but it has some wear on it. There is something written on the case indicating Atlantic Records NYC; not sure if this was used in a studio or not. The Low B is REALLY clear and doesn't fart out or get lost.
You don't find many Foderas in this color. The upgrades and old woods make this a must have.
