Vintage 1987 Rickenbacker 610 Electric Guitar!
Rare Ruby Red Finish!
This is really cool. You are looking at a Vintage 1987 Rickenbacker 610 Electric Guitar. This cool, little guitar is a discontinued model & is sort of a spartan version of the 620 sans binding. The tone from the pair of Rickenbacker's single coil "Hi-Gain" pickups has all the jangle, chime and sparkle you expect from this classic design, and the neck through body gives the instrument great acoustic resonance and sustain. The guitar weighs in at a modest 7.20lbs and balances well on a strap. Professionally setup here at our shop, Top 40 Guitars, this Ric 610 has been professionally setup with fresh 10-46 strings and low action.
The neck has a full and substantial C shaped profile, with a 1 5/8" nut width and traditional 25" scale length. The slab lacquered rosewood fretboard is notably clean, with original fretwire that is virtually flawless. On the headstock, the original "Rickenbacker" logo and truss rod cover is present, as well as the stock Schaller tuning machines that turn smoothly and hold pitch well.
All of the electronics work as they should, with original wiring and untouched solder joints. Each pickup has its own Volume and Tone knobs, as well as the fifth (smaller) blend knob that allows you to mix in the amount of signal from the neck pickup. "Cresting Wave" solid maple body with "R" tailpiece & six-saddle adjustable bridge. Split-level white pickguard. Neck is straight & truss rods work fine.
A Truly Great Playing, Sounding and Looking Guitar that you don't see every day.

Cosmetics: Very Good Condition. This Ricky is a "Player". NOT a museum piece. It's not beat up it's just a used vintage guitar. Keep in mind that this is a 36 year old guitar that has been played. The Top has several pencil point dings. The Back has some light marks from being held next to the player's body. Again, a few small dings as well. Neck and Fingerboard in great shape. Headstock has some scratches and chips around the edges and the Tip. (See pictures #8-#10). There are also some chips on both sides of the Headstock. (See pictures #11-#12). A couple of small dings on the upper bout. (See pictures #13-#14). A small chip near the strap button that someone touched up with a magic marker. (See picture #15). There are a few more just like the ones I have spotlighted. Overall, a very clean solid guitar. Case is pretty beat but it still works just fine, All Latches work. Red Felt Interior is fine. Has that vintage vibe. Lots of stickers. Dripping with "Mojo" Look at the pictures closely, they will tell the story.
