For sale: one 2009 Fender Custom Shop '66 Slab Body Precision Bass, Master Built by Jason Smith of the Fender Custom Shop! Even by reissue standards- this is one ultra RARE bass. The Olympic White finish is aged to a nice buttercream. It’s Closet Classic treatment features perfectly fine checking throughout. The black 3-ply guard on top of this makes it look absolutely STUNNING. Maple capped neck (no skunk stripe) features a wonderfully smooth feel on the back. Nice C-factor to the back of the neck. All docs, candy, covers, tweed case and original shipping carton round it all up. Consider the alternative: a real one of these models start at 25 to 30K.
