1985 Kramer Baretta
This one is a player grade yet has spent most of its life in its original case.
The original owner added a neck pickup of unknown origin which I had replaced with a Seymour Duncan 59NJ. My tech said the neck pickup modification was done very professionally.
The bridge pickup is a SD-JBL.
The natural sustain along with these pickups are monster level.
Switches are Switch Craft.
The new switches function as kill switches so it easy to dial in any combinations of pickups you chose.
Set up for 9 gauge strings (Fresh NYXL’s).
Frets are polished and bends are effortless.
Original Floyd Rose is clean and overhauled.
The original case is in good functional condition. All latches and hinges are solid. In many instances the case handle is broken but after almost 40 years this case handle is still good as new.
It will come with some original case candy.
My tech said it’s a 1985 but it’s not definitive. It could be a 1986. This is the original Super Strat.
The Hot Rod sticker you can peel off but it’s there for a reason.
I’m only selling to fund a Bass/Moog pedal set up I’ve been dreaming about and hate to sell this guitar but it’s the only way I can fund my fantasy.
All in all this Baretta presents beautifully and plays even better so buy with confidence.
These particular guitars are sometimes faked to be a 84-86 model so do your research and truly understand what you are buying. Even though this one is not original in specifications it’s still the real deal and sonically smokes a original.
