Rare 1960 Custom Ordered 12 fret Martin 000-28S

Up for sale is a custom ordered 1960 12 fret 000. Essentially someone had Martin make them a late 20’s 12 fret 000-28 in 1960! The guitar is in very good solid playing condition. Beautiful Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. Spruce top. Some overspray. Tuners are newer Waverly’s. Bridge is also a replacement. It has many cracks all repaired long ago and stable when I received it. Headstock plate is replaced and the headstock appears refinished. Neck was recently set and the frets were replaced. I believe the neck inlay was added as well. 25.4" scale. 1 3/4” nut width, 2-5/16" bridge string spacing. Excellent action with plenty of saddle left.

Despite its looks and repairs this guitar sounds really great! It’s now had all the necessary work to keep it going for years to come. Ships in a newer hard case.
