Fender Japan JB62SS Bass NOS- New Old Stock and MINT

The SS stands for Smart Size, scaled to 85% of the original but with all the monster tone of the '62 Jazz Bass reissue.  This bass has a slightly smaller scale then a Mustang coming in around 29.4" and was produced for the Japanese market only making it very rare here in the US.

Due to CITES treaty, rosewood cannot be exported (or imported) anymore without a permit, hefty fee, and possibly months of waiting.

Features basswood body, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard.  2 single coil jazz pickups, 2 volume control with 1 master tone knob.  Overall length approx 40", and the nut is 38mm.  This bass weighs around 7 lbs.
