Peavey Generation S3 Electric Guitar 1991 USA Made- Trans Black Flame Top Chambered w/ohsc

Here we have a super cool Peavey Generation S3 Tele style electric guitar.  Made in the USA in 1991.  The Generation S3 features a chambered Alder body with a flame Maple Top.  Maple neck and 22- fret Maple fingerboard.  25.5" scale length with a 12' fingerboard radius. It features 3 single coil pickups with master volume and tone and a 5- way blade switch.  HCS hum cancelling pickup system to keep things quiet. Chrome hardware all around.  The guitar weighs a beautiful 6lbs 9.3oz.   You can sling this guitar all night long without any issues.  The guitar has been 10-46's and is playing great.  The neck is nice and straight and the truss rod is working nicely.  The frets are in great shape. We did a light level on them to make sure everything is smooth. Guitar plays great up and down the neck.  The truss rod cover does not appear to be original but matches quite nicely.  Overall the guitar is in very nice condition with some worming and swirling on the back of the instrument.  There is some light pick swirling on the top of the guitar as well but minor.  The fingerboard has a few wear spots but they are minor as well. The guitar comes with its original molded plastic Peavey hard case.  The latches and hinges are working nicely on the case. The top of the case has some warping. It does not affect how the case opens and closes.  

All in all, these USA made Peavey guitars are true sleepers.  Often overlooked, but they are one hell of a value.  Especially for this one with a chambered body. The weight is a selling point on its own.   Add this one to your collection today. Thanks for looking and happy buying!
