In a Nutshell: This is a solid instrument with incredible tone and feel that plays effortlessly and fast, has significant repairs, and is completely structurally sound. 25.4" Scale
At 90 years old she's in good shape needing no additional work. Built at the very peak of Martin's Golden Years, she sports all of the original scalloped braces, and has all original wood with the exception of the fretboard and bridge.
Plays and sounds, accordingly just like she should, with endless tone and the vibrant feel that will addict you to old Martins. She's just wonderful to plunk out some blues at night when the old ghosts from the past come calling. And I'm playing something I've never heard before and I'm playing something I don't know how to play.... :)
In all truth she's a privilege to play and to own.
Restored and Refinished, Replaced Fingerboard (see pic), Original style Bar Frets, Replaced Bridge, Neck Reset, Repaired heel crack, Repaired back cracks, Some finish cracks.
