J Curve Slim Line Array
Equipped with a 1,100 Class D Amplifier this speaker pumps out a mind blowing 125dB SPL, thanks to its high frequency speaker array of 10 small-diameter 1.5" speakers. Utilizing its J-curve array configuration, the speaker achieves a vertical coverage of 30 degrees across a span of 170 degrees. With this long 10-driver array design, the DXL1K delivers clear and high-quality sound over long distances, pushing out consistent sound from the front all the way to the rear of the audience.
Class-leading 12-Inch "Compact" Subwoofer
No live sound scenario is complete without a subwoofer to amplify the experience. Thanks to the DXL1K, you get both included in this portable speaker system. Don’t let the size fool you; there is nothing compact about the chest-bumping low end of the 12" woofer housed in the casing. Thanks to Yamaha's own Twisted Flare Port, wind noise is reduced, and the low-end output is maximized to produce a deep and powerful bass with no distortion.
