Sold one of my two units last week, and now this is the second of the two.
Like-new AML ez1084 channel strip. Neve 1073 preamp circuit, DI, and 1084 EQ (high pass, low pass, high and low shelf, and a mid band) all in one two-slot footprint for 500 series.
Built by an experienced builder, and used sparingly over the last couple months in a smoke-free home studio. Selling my second of two units because I really don't need the outboard EQ, so I'll be ordering a regular AML ez1073 preamp instead.
I haven't found myself using the DI much as I find it a bit noisy when I run it into a guitar amp sim (that's all I've tried the DI for). It is like this on both units I've owned, so I guess it's the nature of the circuit. I go into a basic Radial external DI and then through the mic pre on this, which sounds amazing.
Asking price is less than what the kit itself cost with shipping and import tax from UK, before the full day it takes to build it. So, low-ball offers will be ignored.
