Perfect condition, never altered, dead stock Prophet 5 Rev 3.3. This is a stock 3.3, not a 3.2 or 3.1 that was updated later on so it has had 120 programs since the beginning. High collector value. I've had it maintained over the years, and I've only had to change the rubber grommets every three or so years. The presets were never even changed over so they are the original 120 patches.
Comes with original Sequential Circuits bound manual, Sequential Circuits expression pedal (not 100% sure this things works) and Original teal hard cover case which had the internal foam completely rebuilt a few years ago.
You won't find a cleaner, more reliable Prophet 5 Rev 3.3 out there. This is a better investment than Crypto, NFT! 😂
Shipping price will likely take a while. I anticipate difficulty in finding boxes for such a massive piece of gear (esp including the original wooden / metal case.). This synth itself is seriously heavy, and well built out of pure walnut. The case too is extremely thick and overbuilt so it won't be cheap or easy to receive this package.
The Sequential Prophet 5 Rev3 is the final of three iterations of the original Prophet 5. All 3 models feature 2 oscillators per voice with saw, triangle, pulse and square waves. It also contains an LFO, 24db/octave low pass filter, VCA & cv/gate controls. The Rev3 differs in its use of Curtis chips, microtonal tuning capability, and can be MIDI retrofitted unlike the previous version of this model. For a more affordable, modern version of this synth, Sequential has released the Prophet 5.
