I have a nice combo of the Fostex Model 80 Reel to Reel with matching Fostex 450 sound board, along with a patch bay and original Fostex black Reel.
This is a 1/4 8 Track machine with 3 heads and 3 motors.
These were pulled from a non-smoking studio.
The Tape Machine works and spins and plays.
A few of the led's are not working on the meters, very common on these.
The Mixer has a low hum.
I have cleaned the faders somewhat with spray. but haven't dissembled everything to do a deeper clean.
On channel 5 the audio cuts out halfway up the fader.
This board needs some TLC.
This Mixer mates so well with the model 80 Tape Machine.
