Attention collectors! This breathtaking one of a kind custom shop Eric Clapton Signature model guitar in factory Burgundy mist finish is truly a sight to behold! While many Stratocaster players have come to know and love the Eric Clapton signature model guitars, this Stratocaster is a cut above the rest and in mint / as new condition!!

Built as a "one off" For Zapfs Music during the Art Esparza years at the Fender Custom Shop in 1990, Fender's top craftsman including legendary master builder John Page who's signature is on the COA, pulled out all the stops in creating this beauty. The maple neck is highly figured, it just jumps out at you. Not to mention the perfect feeling and utter playability. This neck feels like you were born with it in your hands. Smooth and glassy, effortless and rich with natural resonance and tone.

This amazing Strat is truly remarkable through and through. The acoustic resonance and playability is instantly present. It becomes apparent that the luthiers at the Custom Shop chose some of the best Maple and Alder available when crafting this guitar. Loaded with Clapton's signature Lace Sensor Pickups, you no longer have to struggle with the standard 60 cycle hum associated with single coils. While not totally "noiseless" what Lace Sensors do is reduce the possibility of 60 cycle hum while also maintaining the sparkle and response of a standard single coil pickup. This rare Clapton Strat is of course also loaded with the TBX circuit, which functions as a standard tone control from 1 to 5, after which it decreases resistance, sending more bass, treble, presence and output to your amp. In this setting it serves a an onboard boost.

This one of a kind, custom color, Eric Clapton signature Stratocaster is a real gem. Guaranteed to make any Strat aficionado fall in love. This EXTREMELY rare guitar was part of a collection and is in NOS / Mint Condition!!! There are no signs of player wear on the guitar! Even the factory protective film is still in place on the pickguard, trem spring cover and even the case latches!! The neck pocket is “Art Esparza“ Stamped and even has ”Zapfs” handwritten in red from factory under the lacquer on the neck heel noting where this unique neck was built for. (see pics)

Vintage NOS Fender Custom Shop Rare One Off “Custom Clapton” Signature Strat in Burgundy Mist finish made in 1990 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, flamed maple neck and flamed maple fingerboard. Equipped with a set of Lace Sensor single coils in the neck, middle and bridge position. Controlled by 1-volume, 2-tone knob with TBX circuit, boost and a 5-way blade switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has black dot inlays and 22 medium frets with a soft V neck profile. The hardware is comprised of Fender vintage style tuning machines, a bone nut, a Fender vintage-style standard synchronized tremolo bridge, and white top hat knobs with a 1-ply parchment pickguard.

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes original hard shell case, COA, case candy and original dated mailer/ tags.
