Original vintage EMT FRANZ 266-X stereo compressor/ limiter in excellent working condition, 100% freshly serviced and sounds beautiful and FAT! These were originally designed at broadcast limiters for German radio and TV, but make amazing drum bus/ mix compressors. Magic on room mics, piano, and drums, the compression is totally program dependent, meaning the limiting function responds dynamically to the input material frequency and amplitude, crating some amazing, hyper real, 3d in-your-face soundscapes. It takes a little effort, but you can really dial in some intense effects massaging the input/ output gain, and driving the ‘pre-emphasis’ (HF boost). Real deal, vintage German iron!!!!!
