If you’re going to have an Axcess - it might as well stand out!

This beautifully blue LP is a decade old now - she comes from a very limited run back in 2013, exclusively for the Canadian market through the distributor Yorkville Sounds. Tops were handpicked and the special trans blue burst finish is exclusive to this run. As I’ve only ever seen 2 other examples from this run, it’s likely that there were only about 5-ish guitars in this specially ordered run. The color varies slightly between examples, but this particular LP has the richest color and the flamiest top that I’ve seen from the run. And it also has a nice ‘n’ dark rosewood fretboard.

Of course, being an Axcess, it has the “Axcess” heel for effortless soloing in the upper registers, as well as coil-splitting capabilities and a comfort-cut on the back. The Axcess has a very slightly thinner body than a traditional Les Paul, and it is chambered too, making it very light & comfortable. The pickups are Gibson’s 496R (neck) & 498T (bridge), higher-output designs that are great for classic rock. And since it’s a Custom Shop Les Paul, it also features the desirable historic specifications such as an ABR-1 bridge, Gibson Deluxe tuners, and a Long Neck Tennon.

A highly-playable & very beautiful example of what a modern Les Paul should be!

In “Very Good” condition. Light scratches throughout. Some light impressions. Neck/body join line is visible, as common with on models with the Axcess heel. Includes original case and pictured case candy.

Rare and Endangered this Axcess has been made exclusively for Canada and is in very limited supply. The AAA figured maple tops are hand picked and in bursts that are exclusive in this model range. Canadian national Gibson distributor Yorkville Sound adds.

"This past November, we commissioned Gibsons Custom Shop to create two limited runs for the Canadian market. For the first run, we brought back the Widow series in Trans Blue, Trans Red and Trans Purple. The second run is based off the popular Les Paul Axcess Stopbar guitar. For both runs, we hand picked the tops and the result is some of the nicest Custom Shop guitars we have seen in a long time."
