Well... The truth is this is an unbelievable guitar for anyone who craves an early Stratocaster feel, sound & vibe.
It looks absolutely stunning.
I love it so much that this is my 2nd one (my backup) in case anything happens to my primary!
Only reason I am selling is that as a surf guitarist, I got into playing Fender Jaguar reissues over the last three years and now play them almost exclusively.
Recently a need emerged to have a backup Jaguar, so since I'm not a guitar farmer, I need to sell something LOL!
Better being loved by you than languishing in a case at my place
You'll notice there are a lot of pictures... And I have carefully documented each minor flaw in this guitar, unlike the individual who sold it to me a few years back here at Reverb.
Let me assure you that this thing plays perfectly is balanced perfectly and is in outstanding vintage condition, all things considered.
It is currently set up with elevens and a subtle floating bridge.
The tremolo arm does not hang limp!
One small and very easily reversible mod is that there is a dedicated tone knob that has been made shorter that is the first knob right underneath the pickups. This allows you to independently take a little bit of the bite out of the bridge pickup without affecting the others.
Below that you will find the master volume which controls for all three pickups, and the tone control that controls tone for the other two pickups.
This allows you to be able to blend the tones in a much nicer way for more subtle kinds of music
**** NOTE RE. SHIPPING: Having had a poor experience with shipping on a recent sale, I want to make sure that I'm covered this time. Actual shipping cost will be calculated based on shipper and speed of your choice and guitar will be shipped accordingly after payment. Thank for your understanding!
There is no case for this guy, so I'll have to pack it up very carefully for you in an appropriate box.
Rest assured that I have sold guitars before, even overseas, and never had a problem.
Please feel free to ask any questions.
Thank you!
