1968/1969 Marshall JMP Model 1992 Super Bass with 1935 and 1935B cabinets in very good condition.

Purchased together in Maxwell's music shop in Woking, Surrey in 1969.

Carefully kept, used and maintained. The only change made by the original owner to the amplifier's fixed circuit is a replacement of the Bulgin mains socket with an IEC during the 1990s. As a preventative measure, R&CC have this year replaced the mains and screen filter caps with ARS equivalents (stock to Marshall 1959HW heads); we've also replaced the 32uF PI filter cap with a 50uF ARS can and added a bias trim pot. The work was undertaken, and the amplifier serviced, by Marshall Amplification on 15th April 2024. R&CC have also repaired the indicator lamp barrel and have replaced a knob where the cap was missing. The valves have been tested on an AVO VCM MKIII and test book value, or extremely close, or better than.

The 1935B cab was used only a handful of times since 1969 and was otherwise kept in storage under its vinyl cover. The quality of the basketweave fret cloth is exceptional. The cabinet contains two 1968 Celestion T1511s with 34 102 014 Pulsonic cones and two 1967 Celestion T1281s with 39 102/014 Pulsonic cones. The cones on the T1511s have not been broken in yet. The reason two T1281s have been installed in the cab and G12M labels applied to the magnet covers is uncertain although it's considered likely these are the labels from the stock speakers. One of the T1281s has been cleaned internally by R&CC to correct a voice coil rub. This means the dust cap has been lifted from the cone, the spider lifted from the frame, the chassis and coil gap cleaned, the cone re-centred, the spider re-glued and the dust cap re-glued. The same process was undertaken on the two T1511s as a preventative measure to correct lifting spiders.

The 1935 cab was used regularly for gigging since 1969. This is reflected in the exterior condition of the fret cloth and covering. There are patches of missing vinyl to the rear panel and base. The cabinet contains four 1968 Celestion T1511s with 34 102 104 Pulsonic cones. One of the speakers has been cleaned internally by R&CC to correct a voice coil rub. The same process was undertaken on two other speakers in this cabinet as a preventative measure to correct lifting spiders.
