This guitar belonged to a friend, the original owner, who unfortunately left it sitting out in the open rooms for many years. I completely disassembled it, cleaned it and checked all electrical attachments. All parts are still properly connected, but it does not power up when a guitar cable is inserted. It shows some pitting in the chrome consistent with exposure to moist air. Perhaps the connection is corroded. I put new strings on as well. If you are able to install a new cable insert I don't see any reason it won't work. That said, this guitar is listed for sale to part out. To save on shipping costs I have removed the strings and neck to pack in smaller box. It does not have a case of tremolo handle. It only has one significant chip in it as shown, otherwise the body and neck are in pretty good condition.
