This Jackson King V is very near and dear to my heart, a powerful guitar that has withstood the test of time touring internationally with Lizzy Borden. No longer in production, this is a model you won’t be seeing anyone else play. Perfect for the vintage/modern metal enthusiast, this guitar will handle your heaviest riffs and fastest solos, guaranteed. Equipped with an EMG 81 ceramic pickup in the bridge, your leads will slice right through even the densest mix with an incredible amount of high end cut and fluid sustain. The EMG 85 Alnico V pickup in the neck offers a fat & muscular rhythmic growl with smooth, sweet lead tones. All in all, these humbucking pickups emit aggressive amounts of gain, effortless sustain, and screaming harmonic content making every overtone within your reach. Master volume and tone controls give you total control over all three pickup positions. 

Features an alder body with an epic quilt maple top, a 3-piece through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement and a hand-rubbed oil finish. The neck-through-body design is perfect for those longer, held out notes and pinch harmonics you want to let ring out and simmer. The compound radius ebony fretboard is free of fret buzz and makes for slick and high-speed playing, with 12” radius at the nut for chords and 16" radius at the bridge for solos. Armed with 24 jumbo frets, alumiloid shark fin inlays, and a white neck & headstock binding. The bridge (floating) is equipped with a Floyd Rose double locking tremolo for any and all dive-bombing needs without the tuning headache.

All the electronics are in perfect working order. No truss rod cover on the headstock. There are pick scratches on the body front and back, a few marks around the edges, but are only noticeable when closely inspecting, step a few feet back and will nearly all disappear (hence why you can’t even see them in the show pictures). All things considered, this guitar still shines & is in really good aesthetic condition.

**For the customer’s knowledge: 

This was one of my touring guitars that I bought specifically for its 24-fret neck, which was necessary for the solos I would be playing live. Some people swear by 24 frets, and I have come to find that for my hands, I personally prefer shorter scale lengths and less frets. This guitar served me well and I had an enormous amount of fun with it, but today it never makes it out of the case anymore. I’d rather see one of you putting it to good use and giving it some energy rather than staying in a case for the next however many years!
