Dallas, TX band director selling my very nice Antoine Courtois Evolution IV (Model #ACEV4B) trumpet. This RARE instrument is in very good condition in raw brass (see all pics). This is the model with the following features: 1st and 3rd valve slides (3rd w/nylon ball stop), adjustable gap receiver for your mouthpiece, custom sheet metal bracing (from factory), double lead pipe, thick bell, medium weight bottom caps, black valve stems, in the Stomvi case as pictured.
If you are looking at my listing, you know the quality/desirability of these Courtois trumpets...they do NOT come up for sale often, especially in this condition. Yes, it is a little heavier than the Bach Strad and/or Yamaha Xeon - but you have to play this horn to appreciate all its' capabilities!
**This trumpet looks GREAT, and performs BETTER. It produces a very rich/dark tone with the right mouthpiece, and can also be played as a solo horn very easily. If you have always wanted one, HERE'S YOUR CHANCE!
