Celestion Custom (Seventy 80) Vox VX12 4 ohm
This is a custom made Celestion Seventy 80 speaker pulled out of a brand new Vox Cambridge 50, but there is something extra special about this one. This one was made custom for Vox and is rated at 4 ohms instead of the usual 8 or 16. A 4 ohm speaker means that if you use a Class-D solid state power amp, you will get the full power from the amp, so if you want to upgrade you 12" speaker in your solid state to get that celestion bark, this will be a great option for you - just make sure your amp doesn't exceed the rated 80w for the speaker.
I took it straight out of the cambridge 50, did not even play it, so the cone is brand new, but the condition is listed as very good because the gasket around the lip of the cone ripped as I pulled out the speaker but it does not affect its functionality in any way.
