Here for sale we have a Taylor 712ce Grand Concert electro acoustic guitar in Western Sunburst finish. Built in the USA in 2011 this guitar features a solid Engelmann Spruce top, solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, a 20 fret Mahogany neck, an Ebony fingerboard and bridge, along with a Taylor Expression System preamp, with controls for volume, treble and bass.
The semi-gloss finish neck plays well, offering a smooth and comfortable playing surface, and with a fairly moderate profile it will certainly suit the vast majority of players. The venetian cutaway gives excellent access to the upper register, while the Grand Concert body style sits at a nice halfway point between OM and dreadnought body styles, not feeling overly large, while still giving a really responsive playing experience.
The tone of the 712ce is very well balanced, with a warm low end, a tight and punchy midrange, along with a clear and articulate top end. The Expression System preamp really enhances the voice of the 712ce, with easy to use shoulder-mounted controls that and very accessible, yet still feel discreet. Overall a really well built electro acoustic in a gorgeous Western Sunburst finish.

Headstock: Finish fading is visible to the finish on the front of the headstock. The top edge shows finish denting and small chips, carrying over to the sides. There is a finish imperfection near the B string machine head to the side.
Neck: Finish wear is visible but not affecting playability. There is some lacquer cracking to the treble edge at the 10th fret that can be felt. The fingerboard shows light signs of wear, with some abrasion at the third fret between G and B strings, along with some discolouration to the top 6 frets on the treble side.
Body: Light scratch markings are visible to the body, with the front showing a couple of finish dents below the bridge. There is a noticeable marking to the bottom of the front of the guitar and some lacquer markings around the bridge. There are light scratch markings to the back and sides (visible under bright lighting), along with 'cloudy' lacquer markings around the neck joint.
Condition of Frets:
