Warmoth Warmoth G4 Bass with Delano P/J Pickups and EMG Preamp Satin Orange Over Ash

Warmoth G4 Bass with Delano Pickups / EMG Preamp -  I have up for sale a Warmoth G4 Bass with Delano P/J pickups and EMG preamp.  This bass is a swamp ash body, roasted maple neck, with stainless steel frets, hipshot bridge.  The bass sound killer, and is in great condition and working order. Action is set low, with no buzzing, and frets are in great condition. Only blemish to the paint is on the bottom side of the body near the arm bevel.   There is a paint chip there.   The bass was played in a smoke free practice facility (for my band) and my smoke free home recording studio.   Never was played out live in a bar.  Comes with everything pictured.

Pickups - Pickups are a custom set of Delano P/J pickups with PMVC 4 FE/M2 in the neck, and JMVC 4 FE/M2 in the bridge all housed a set of soapbar housing instead of the normal P/J. These pickups are super punchy, with great clarity and growl. They have a lot depth and tonality.

Electronics - Electronics use an EMG BTC control (stacked bass / treble), ABC control (active blend), master volume, and master tone. EMG typically gets a bad rap for their pickups, but for preamps, they are great. I tried this setup compared to an Aguilar OBP-1 and OBP-3, Bartolini preamps, Nordstrand preamps, etc. and in a blind test we picked the EMG. Works so well!

Parts - The bridge is a Hipshot bridge, as well as the knobs are Hipshot knobs, which are great as they have rubber ring around them to make it super easy to change during the middle of a song! All of the other parts (tuners, screws, etc.) are parts sourced from Warmoth as well.

Below are the specs from Warmoth for the body and neck.  The only changes I have done since I ordered them were to have my luthier re-route the BC soapbox sizes to BD sizes to accommodate the Delano pickups, as well as remove the glow in the dark side dots and replace them with black dots.
