"Clarinets branded with the model 1740 DeLuxe were manufactured between 1946 and 1968. 1740 DeLuxe clarinets were manufactured in limited quantities and for limited periods of time during the nearly 20 year manufacturing lifespan.
The 1740 DeLuxe (cursive maker’s mark) made in France by Martin Freres is an entry-level professional Bb clarinet."
This instrument is clean over all with minor superficial wear. There is some superficial scratching throughout the grenadilla wooden body and hardware. The hardware also has minor tarnish spots. It has recently been repadded.
