OLED Display Upgrade - Waldorf Microwave

Waldorf Microwave oled display !
Amber, Blue, Red or White on black available.
This oled is a direct replacement for the old display, it has the same uncommon pcb layout as the standard lcd its replacing. the dimensions and mounting holes are identical, simply follow the instructions to remove the old lcd, then reattach the new oled. the colour and contrast can be adjusted, if you choose a red oled, i will include some colour filters to exactly match it with the red alpha dial.
There are two wires for the old lcd backlight,
These should be trimmed down flush to the board. The oled will be in close proximity to these old connections after its installed, so it's necessary to insulate the edge as a precaution. I will do this before it ships. The oled pictured has been insulated and is ready to install.
The ribbon cable soldered to the old display should be removed/desoldered or trimmed as close as possible and prepared, then soldered to the oled in exactly the same way.
There is no reason why anyone couldn't do this mod, everything you need to complete the job will be supplied incl some chemwick for desoldering if required, also some silver furutech to solder the ribbon to the oled.
**take care and handle the oled by the edges and make sure your earthed before hand to prevent any static charge**
