These are bars (44 total) that were photographed in the "boxes", which are NOT part of the listing. This is a model #352 ,3.5 octave marimba ,and I am selling because the frame is missing. All bars are in nice condition, no dents from incorrect mallets or misuse. I played every bar and do not hear any rattles associated with possible cracking. Visible inspection shows no cracks, but I show many photos for full viewing. The longest bar is 17 and 1/8",and 1 7/8" wide. The shortest bar is just under 8" and just over 1 1/2" wide. Several bars in the lowest register are out of tune, the rest seems good. So, a professional tuning would be needed for at least the lowest octave.Century Mallet inChicago is one facility that does mallet tuning. I will be also listing the Oak boxes from this instrument. At this price, the cost is Less than $15 per Rosewood bar. Please feel free to ask questions, and you can see my other vintage gear in LA at americanvintagedrumrentals.
