This McPherson Sable Carbon Fiber Acoustic-Electric Guitar in Camo comes with Gold Hardware for an elevated look. The Sable is a welcome addition to the great line of McPherson guitars! The All Carbon Fiber design of the McPherson Sable Acoustic Guitar is impervious to temperature and humidity changes. Never worry about humidifying again! If you could buy a car that only needed gas, this would be it! Low maintenance to say the least!
We were a little skeptical of the Camo look when McPherson called to tell us about it. As soon as we laid eyes on it, we all exclaimed how much cooler the Camo looks that expected! If a mathematically precise design is a bit too much, the more random look of the Camo may be for you.
A big bold tone is what you get with this guitar. The lows are incredibly deep and rich. The highs are smooth and warm and the mids are crisp and well balanced. Strum a chord and it just explodes from this guitar. Single note lines have plenty of snap and pop and fingerstyle players will love the way it reacts to your touch.
The soft V neck shape is extremely comfortable and easy to play. The frets are well dressed and intonation is spot on thanks to McPherson's design and execution. The neck is cantilevered which means it doesn't tamp down resonance by gluing the fingerboard to the body. This is a design borrowed from Arch Top guitars that yields an incredibly vibrant top. This is one of the easiest to play carbon fiber guitars on the market but more importantly, it is consistent. The neck doesn't move so it feels the same every time you pick it up.
The LR Baggs Element system sounds awesome making this the perfect guitar for the studio and stage. This guitar, out of the case, is ready for any application that you can throw at it. I've taken one into a high-end studio and gotten amazing results! Not just practically indestructible, this is a REAL INSTRUMENT.
