This 2002 Yamaha YFL-674 Professional Flute EC 925 Sliver, serial number 009266, was made in Japan. This beautiful flute is open-holed, with a B foot joint, and offset G.
The flute was purchased for a person who once played flute in school, with the intent to revive prior playing knowledge and improve upon that knowledge. Unfortunately, the instrument was only played a handful of times after which it was stored in its case in a dry indoor home environment. The flute has been well cared for and is in near perfect condition. The flute was recently examined at a local retail music store and is said to be a high-quality flute in excellent condition, although the pads may need replacement due to normal aging.
