This display is very bright, its advisable, essential, therefore to build adjustment into, not only the contrast but also the backlight. This leaves the display fully adjustable. The contrast can be dialed in to perfection, the backlight can be tamed to match your personal studio lighting.
All that's required is a small screwdriver to make adjustments.
