Ibanez SAS36FM 2006 - Transparent Grey Flamed Maple - Set Neck

Gleaming flamed maple finish on this beautiful transparent grey set-through neck guitar. I've taken a close up on the colorful detail the abalone binding around the body.

The SAS36FM is an SA series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2006. It was originally produced in South Korea by the World company; production moved to China for 2008.

The SAS36FM features a flamed maple top with abalone purfling and cream binding on a mahogany body mated to a set-in maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and abalone dot position markers. Components include a SAT pro synchronized tremolo bridge and Ibanez pickups with a True Duo Bucker in the bridge position and Axis single-coils in the middle and neck positions. For 2008 the SAT Pro tremolo was replaced with the SAT Pro II.

The SAS36QM is a similar model with a quilted maple top.

The SAS36FM was discontinued after 2011.
