This is a Guild X160 made in Westerly, RI There is a number on the label inside the F hole, 02891, I don't know what that means, but it's serial # HJ000014. I was not able to find a lot of info on Guild serial numbers, but what I did find seemed to point to 1984, and again, I can't swear by it.

This guitar is as clean as you're going to find one of these. The top is laminated, I don't know about the back and sides, but they may be as well. The guitar looks and sounds beautiful and wonderful. Everything works like it should. The neck is straight and has plenty of wood to grab, it's not a skinny neck. The string action is low and it's easy to play. We are a music store and are selling this for a customer who was a collector and now is selling off his collection. The only thing I can see that might remotely be an issue is that it looks like some guitar polish may have gotten on two of the pickup ring mounting screws on the neck pickup. Other than that, it's really nice. I wish I could have gotten our store lights out of the pictures, but you can see it's nicely flamed, even the back of the neck. IN better times, I'd likely keep this one for myself.

It comes with the factory Guild hard shell case which is not as mint as the guitar but that is the nature of cases sometimes.

The cost of shipping has gone through the roof in the past six months or so. I hate it, it's just something we have to live with. We are not trying to make money off shipping, and we get our price guidelines from the REverb site. I pack these myself and I do a great job. I pack them as if I were sending them to my brother. That said, I insure these for the full cost paid by a buyer so that if something does happen during shipping you are fully covered. Please keep in mind that shipping has to include the actual freight, the insurance fee, any packing materials needed and the cost to get the package to the shipper.

This shipping price is for the lower 48 of the US. I will consider shipping elsewhere for an additional fee.

Thanks for having a look. Contact me with any questions. This is a guitar anyone would be happy to own.

PS, one respondent messaged to say he things it might have been made in 1989, fyi

Peace,

Don
