Price reduced to bottom line! Up for sale is this beast of a vintage import. This is an extremely Rare 1965 Japanese made Melody Plus RD4V, if not the only working in the USA. Easily mistaken as a Teisco Telestar, this guitar was not associated with Teisco, but exported by the Suzuki company for 2 years and sold out of Chicago and New York under the badge Melody Plus. Most of these guitars never left Japan as they were more commonly 2 pickup models and only exported for 2 years. This particular guitar is a BEAST with its four mirrored pickups. It had been in the case most of its life, excellent playing condition, all original, pickups are incredible and if I was not drowning in guitars this would be my main solid body guitars. It features switches for all four pickups, a solo/rhythm mode switch that acts like an MXR Micro Amp built in as a boost to an already charged guitar. This guitar can sound literally any way you want it with all of the options. From soft to blow the roof off. Just begging to be plugged into a fuzz pedal and a tube amp. Comes with original case and brand new GHS nickel boomers. Sounds a lot like Jack White's Airline with the Valco pickups. Don't hesitate to ask any questions. All reasonable offers will be considered.
