About This Listing

Used Getzen 3001MV Mike Vax Bb Trumpet This Getzen 3001MV trumpet has been cleaned and serviced by Giant Steps Music in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is a recent trade in by a local professional trumpet player and is in excellent condition. The silver is 100% intact and only has very few minor dings and light evidence of light bell repair that is barely visible in pictures. This trumpet works incredibly well in concert band and big band settings. It's truly a great all around horn. A slightly used red Protec case and a Blessing 3C mouthpiece is included and all items are sold as is. Below is the description of this model direct from the Getzen company.

The 3001MV is the result of Mike Vax’s 40 plus years of trumpet playing experience. Together, he and the Getzen ProShop worked to develop a first-class lead trumpet based on the existing 3001 design. The 3001MV features a standard 3001 body with the addition of a lower tuning slide venturi tube and lightweight bottom caps. This modified body is combined with a #172 hand-hammered, one-piece, lightweight gold brass bell which creates a wonderfully rich and colorful tone with outstanding projection and response.
