LEFTY! Vintage 1972 Fender Telecaster Thinline Natural Nitro Semi-Hollow Chambered Ash Guitar Seth Lover Pups 6.3 lb HSC

Here’s a super rare made in USA left handed vintage 1972 Fender Telecaster Thinline with a factory original lightly flamed neck, fully restored with a new high-end made in USA semi-hollow chambered Fender American Reissue guitar body. This incredible custom body is fitted with a made in USA reissue 3-ply Aged Pearl pickguard (with real 1970s pickguard screws) loaded with 1970s vintage Seth Lover Wide Range CuNiFe humbuckers. These rare Fullerton era pickups have natural play wear on the chrome covers which looks amazing, and they sound phenomenal with original windings at 10.3K bridge and 10.5K neck respectively.

This guitar also has mostly all other vintage Fender Fullerton era parts including complete loaded neck, complete Thinline hardtail bridge, strap buttons, knobs, output jack retainer cup, 1972 CTS pots (with vintage capacitor), Switchcraft jack, and 1970s vintage CRL #1452 3-way switch with Bakelite Daka Ware top hat switch tip.

The solid American Fender Swamp Ash body is made in USA to vintage specs and features thin “close to the grain” Natural finish by MJT. The nitro has light relic wear and classic lacquer checking. This one of a kind custom body features many appropriate Fender parts and the vintage spec 1972 Fender American Vintage hardtail bridge with vintage string spacing completes the classic look.

The ultra rare 1971 Fender lightly flamed maple neck has a 100% original naturally aged relic finish with nitro checking on headstock. It is completely original with its frets, nut, nitro headstock finish, and all hardware including tuners, string retainers and micro tilt adjustment. It features the classic 25.5" scale length, 21 original vintage frets, 7.25” radius Brazilian rosewood fretboard with real aged clay top and side dots, original bone nut that 1 and 5/8” / 1.605” wide (41mm “B” nut width) with original string guides, 100% original finish, thin C profile with .829”/.888” thickness, original bullet truss rod adjustment at head, and walnut skunk stripe on back. All tuners are original and the tuning keys are straight. This is an extraordinarily rare neck from the early 1970s Fender Fullerton factory (the date and model code on the heel neck dates it to 1971).

This guitar is super light for an Ash body guitar at only 6.3 lb and is very resonant with great sustain. It has a fresh set up with 10/46 regular light gauge Fender strings for excellent tone.

Bonus vintage extras: ships in a vintage late 1960s left-handed Fender USA Fullerton era hard shell case with red interior (all latches and handle function), 1970s Fender strap, vintage Switchcraft black coil guitar cable, and vintage Telecaster Thinline manual (this $2,500+ value in extras alone).

Ahead of schedule delivery intact. This excellent specimen of a 1998 cij67/68 Hendrix natural ash body guitar was described physically on spot. Hearing and feeling are hard to convey online. Love the small-dimensioned neck still retaining nice resonance. It's a keeper before and after the amp is on.
