About This Listing

I am selling this very rare ESP - EII seven string multi-scale with alder body. Exceptional flamed Koa top and ebony fingerboard. This is an experimental guitar, and only 3 have been produced by ESP in Japan. This is not a limited edition or a special run.

It is in perfect condition, as I have kept the guitar as a collectible. I obtained the guitar via a contact from the ESP MUSEUM in Tokyo (Japan). I have been playing seven string guitars for about 20 years, and this one stands above everything I have owned and tried (early Music Man JP7, ESP Seven, Ibanez Custom, etc.). The guitar can literally do everything in terms of sound and musicality. It is equipped with two special custom slanted Bare Knuckle Aftermath humbuckers (7ST MS), a 3-way selector, master volume and master tone with coil split. The tuners are Gotoh locking tuners SG360-07 MG-T.

The neck is a one-piece hard maple in the pure tradition of the ESP golden era (90's - thin U shape, if you have played ESP Horizon/MII from the 90's, you know what I am referring to) with the improved ESP heel only available on rare custom shop models (ESP Custom Lab T-5 Ultimate Access). The multi-scale fretboard makes it incredibly comfortable and easy to play.
