From the Tom Hamilton Aerosmith Collection. From the earliest days of Aerosmith, Tom Hamilton's Sunburst Fender Jazz Bass was one of his "go-to" basses. When the band decided to make a video for the 1991 re-issue of their 1974 mega-hit "Sweet Emotion" Tom chose this Fender American Vintage Reissue Jazz Bass (AVRI) for the job. It get's complicated to determine the exact date this bass was made since the serial numbers for this series do not follow Fender's normal number/year correlation. The bass shows clear signs of use and remains in excellent condition. The bass was also featured in the band's museum exhibit at their Las Vegas residency.

Acquired directly from Tom Hamilton. Tom's tech personally inspected the guitar. He adjusted the neck, polished the frets, oiled the fretboard, sprayed the pots and installed new strings. The guitar is in excellent working condition with no notable issues. The guitar is identified by an Aerosmith inventory tag. It includes a hardshell case, one of Tom’s custom Aerosmith guitar pics and a certificate of authenticity signed by Tom Hamilton. While supplies last; we have a stack of Tom Hamilton’s bass guitar straps, in which we will include one plus a set list with every bass order until we run out.
