Kramer 1988 Nightswan - Blue Sparkle - Juarez Wound Pickups

The original US made model - 1988 F Plate (not to be confused with cheaper overseas reissues) designed by the late Buddy Blaze in conjunction with Vivian Campbell who needed a unique shredding guitar for the Whitesnake tour. It doesn't get more 80's era MTV than this.

The guitar is player grade condition with bumps and chips and roadware from gigs - see pics. This brilliant player with extremely low action sounds amazing + has an expensive stainless steel re-fret from a luthier plus FU Tone titanium parts added. The 500k Seymour Duncan Liberator volume pot upgrade, makes pickup swaps effortless for those that like to experiment with their sound. Speaking of which - this has iconic Maricela Juarez wound vintage 80s original Full Shred and JB pickups. Has newer pickup rings - but original Schaller black pickup rings are in the case.

The original Nightswan satin finish neck is a very comfortable starting with C-shape (so you can play scales and arpeggios down there with ease along with power chords) - the middle portion is flat and curves very sharp and the fretboard then gets flatter up to the 24th fret. The fretboard has a  special radius to enhance the Floyd Rose tremolo even further + has incredibly low action. The nut is an R1 and unique mother of pearl dot inlays in a diagonal pattern. The pickups are also unique with the second a middle pickup so it doesn't get as muddy as a traditional front humbucker.

Guitar Upgrades
The Maricela Juarez wound original vintage Full Shred (Bridge) and JB (Middle) are wired into a 500k Seymour Duncan Liberator volume pot. The Liberator allows you to swap pickups with ease (no soldering). Many guitarists swapped the JB to the bridge .. and the Libererator will allow you to do this or try a new pickup in minutes. So it's a great upgrade.

The guitar I just back from a Stainless Steel re-fret. Many high end modern guitars now go for the more expensive SS frets which will last you a life time and stay brighter and really help playing and tone. The Jescar FW51108 Stainless Steel frets used by my luthier is the same wire used on modern Suhr guitars.

Titanium (FU Tone) saddle insert blocks and string lock / saddle mounting screws have been added replacing cheaper Floyd Rose screws that rust and can break. This means you can crank them tight for extra tuning stability and tone. Also you'll never need to replace them.

Comes with a new style Kramer case.

Postage - for overseas the figures are for guidance.  I'm happy to work with you as the cost may be cheaper depending on carrier and location.

This is a reluctant sale because Nightswan prices are incredibly high for the original guitars and I have another guitar in my sights. So need to sell one to fund it.
