Custom headless/fretless active bass : Custom body made from a single slab of Korina w/top-edge black binding, gilded by Gildaxe SF and final-finished by Pat Wilkins, Van Nuys CA. Custom pickguard of clear acrylic w/gold backing. Newberry era Steinberger 24 fret lined fretless neck attached with 1/4" neck plate made of carbon fiber. Steinberger DB System bridge/tuner w/drop D/B de-tuner lever. Bartolini MM style neck pu and J style bridge pu with 9v Aguilar OBP-2 preamp and active/passive switch. Thomastik-Infeld nickel flat-wound strings. A rich deep sonorous bass that is truly one of a kind. This is a new custom instrument and will be shipped in a HSC.
