Here is a 1970 Egmond 12 String Acoustic Guitar with its original chipboard case. Made in Holland during the day and I well remember them. Looking back, they really competed with the European made EKO, Hagstrom, Framus etc. This is a well made big bodied guitar. Cosmetically, the sunburst color is nice and it has less than normal wear with minimal crazing as one would expect. The Rosewood Neck appears to be straight and action is bit high for my liking. However, these guitars have a screw in the neck joint attachment to the body with plug. I have not removed the plug but I understand the string height can be adjusted with that screw. The pickguard is missing and a replacement can be purchased on Guitar Centers website for $6.99. The original chipboard case is nothing to write home about but it protects the guitar and handle and latches are intact. All in all, this is a Nice example of fine craftsmanship from Holland during the 60's and 70's! Not many of these 12 strings were made so very hard to come by today and very collectible.  I will use Reverbs shipping label to fully insure and it will be shipped by way of UPS Ground and in a guitar box.
