to witt the "Stauffer Martin"
This is 1850>1880s :)...This guitar came to me in pieces however all mostly in tact, just sort of deconstructed over time .
I cleaned and reassembled it, french polished and strung it up. Its straight as a arrow flat and not scarred the Stauffer family of German parlor guitars 1833 to 1890s. Herringbone bindings, cone heel , Brazillian B/S. its a player and I tend to put nylon strings on period guitars however its stout and would be fine with light steel.
